One Day Workshop: January 22, 2024


- You will learn how to see light and composition.
- Create unique images using various angles with each subject you photograph.
- Art will teach you to emphasize overlooked details that make a difference in your photographs.
- Materials- Please bring a DSLR or a Mirrorless camera and two lenses one telephoto 24mm to 85mm or similar.
- This workshop is for photographers or artists that wish to take reference photos for their artwork.

WATERCOLOR LANDSCAPE WORKSHOP – All Levels
Three Day Workshop: February 12, 13 and 14, 2024


Learning to paint with watercolor should be fun! Don’s Landscape Workshop is geared specifically for artists eager to paint and study in a non-stress studio environment.
Each day, Don will address a major visual concern; light, color, granulation, organizing nature and utilizing negative space are just a few subjects to be covered.
Don’s class is not geared to any specific level of achievement; artists at all levels will benefit from a more personal understanding of the painting possibilities available in the exciting world of landscape painting. This workshop will be packed with demonstrations, discussions, individual help and personal and group critiques.
- Times: Morning 9 – 12 with an hour for lunch (Bring your own); Afternoon 1 to 4
- Each Morning: Morning demo of approximately one hour. Morning student painting session with instructor advising individually.
- Each Afternoon: Afternoon demo of approximately one hour. Afternoon student painting session. Each day will include personal and/or group critiques.
